Sturgeon Ventures Supports The Project Harar 2018 Surgical Mission

Sturgeon Ventures Pioneer of Regulatory Incubation Sponsors 3,000 Eggs.

Project Harar was set up to help those people, predominantly children, living in rural Ethopia affected by facial deformities, be it a cleft lip, palate, animal attack or tumour, and are unable to access medical support.
These children are at risk of being marginalised from their local communities and opportunities for education, work and marriage.
Local community in rural Ethopia is very important and being stigmatised for the way you look can be hugely detrimental to your way of life.  Project Harar’s vision is that no-one should live a disadvantaged life due to facial disfigurement.
Patients can arrive undernourised and pre-surgery, their diet is supplemented with eggs, milk powder, biscuits and oranges.  Post surgery is a time when the body needs good quality protein to heal and, in both cases, eggs are a fantastic high protein and easy to digest.
Sturgeon Ventures, the regulatory incubator pioneer,  is delighted to be supporting the Project Harar 2018 Surgical Mission by sponsoring 3,000 eggs, which is approximately the total quantity of eggs needed for the entire 2018 Mission.
Seonaid Mackenzie has also donated a signed Sex and the City poster for their next auction.
