| Michael Waller-Bridge MSI Michael’s experience
in venture capital was won in the vanguard of the electronic trading
revolution, first with joint venture work between the member markets
of the Federation of European Stock Exchanges, then as CEO/co-founder
of the Tradepoint Stock Exchange, the groundbreaking electronic market
which subsequently (as Virt-x) became a unit of the Swiss Stock Exchange,
and subsequently with other developing entrepreneurial businesses.
Originally trained as a physicist, Michael Waller-Bridge has worked
in the sector since joining the London Stock Exchange during the “Big
Bang” transitions of the 1980’s, focusing on the market’s development
of future electronic and trading services. Before then Michael had
been instrumental,together with colleagues from Imperial College,
London University, in a venture which developed opto-digital holographic
recording techniques for medical imaging applications. Michael is
a member of the Securities Institute and a Member of the peer-appointed
World Technology Network, where he also serves as a judge for the
